Steve Afra brings over 30 years of experience in finance, mortgage banking, and capital markets. As a key principal at Nvestor Funding, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth strategy, capital markets initiatives, and has overseen more than $2 billion in non-QM loan originations.

Mr. Afra began his career in the mortgage banking industry and later became a partner at the nation’s largest non-QM lender, where he structured mortgage-backed securities (MBS), managed secondary market transactions, developed underwriting frameworks, and ensured regulatory compliance. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives that optimized loan performance, reduced risk exposure, and delivered billions in private lending transactions with strong investor returns.
